St. Mary's Academy's Literary and Art Digital Magazine

Escribe Maria is a literary and art magazine run by students at St. Mary's Academy in Portland, Oregon. While originally just an annual print publication, the Escribe team created this website in 2020 to display the art and writing created by our community to the wider world. Stay tuned for blog posts showcasing student prose, poetry, drawings, paintings, photography, and more! Escribe Maria is a proud recipient of multiple first place awards as a part of the American Scholastic Press association’s annual magazine competition, most recently for the 2022-2023 edition of our magazine.
