Artist Feature: Maia Lippay / Art / Class of 2024

Maia Lippay is a St. Mary's Academy junior and one of the Escribe Maria editors. Their piece "Soirée d'ambiance," shown above, depicts "two time travellers meeting in a common space." Lippay explained that the women's outfits are rooted in distinct time periods, saying, "The woman in the purple dress is based on 1920s high society dress and the woman in the coat is inspired by 1960s Parisian fashion."
"Soirée d'ambiance" was featured in the 2021-2022 issue of Escribe Maria.
